Bangladesh is the land of hope.
This South Asian country had just gained
independence from Pakistan in 1971 through a bloody nine month war. After the
war, the country suffered from food shortage, the destruction of communication
systems and the terrible corruption of bureaucrats. Another disaster for this
nation is the struggle for democracy. In 1974,Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family
were killed by political assassination. Who is called the father of the nation
of Bangladesh. Later, this newly independent nation had to struggle for 16 years
to regain democracy. In 1991,a democratic government to power of the nation very

Bangladesh's renaissance has begun after overcoming all obstacles. At
present this country of 170 million people has made great progress
economically. Bangladesh has become the country of fastest GDP growth in South
Asia. In the fiscal year 2021-22, the GDP growth rate of Bangladesh was 6.4 percent,
which is the third in South Asia. So, Now you can understand why Bangladesh is
called the emerging tiger of South Asia.

Bangladesh is the world's second exporter of garment
industry. In the fiscal year 2021-22,exports from the ready made garment industry
alone amounted to $42.613 billion, which is 81.81 percent on Bangladesh's total
exports. About 4 million people of the country are involved in the garment
industry, Including about 1.5 million women worker! Wondering? According to WEF,
Bangladesh ranks 48th in the overall empowerment women. Women Contribution to
Bangladesh's GDP is about 20 percent. This Contribution of women has strengthened
the economy of Bangladesh. Also, this county is in good position in food grain
production and fish export. By creating foreign employment, the workers of
Bangladesh have taken the country to another height by earning huge amount of
foreign currency.
